Florence, Arizona....Thursday, March 8, 2012; the long anticipated opening is here! The doors to the brand new, state-of-the-art hospital, Florence Hospital at Anthem, opened its doors to the community at 1:00 pm today. Licensed by Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) as a General Acute Care Hospital, the staff stand ready to provide healthcare services to the local residents.

Groundbreaking ceremonies for the Florence Hospital at Anthem took place a little over 2 years ago and even though there was a brief delay due to the recession, the construction forged on. Together with its contractors and construction team, they have done their utmost to bring the project to completion. “Once you visit the facility you will agree that it was worth the wait,” said Dr. Tim Johns, Founder.

Florence Hospital at Anthem is located on the corner of Hunt Highway and Franklin Road. The 36-bed, 96,000 square-foot-hospital opened with services that include Emergency, Inpatient/ICU, Correctional unit, OR/PACU, MRI, CT, Digital X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, more than 300 employees and a medical staff roster of more than 105 physicians representing more than sixteen specialties.
