Bradley L. Newswander, DPM, Chairman Dr. Bradley Newswander originally hails from Utah where he began his studies as a pre-med student at Utah State University. After graduating, he followed his passion for podiatry by attending California College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Newswander then completed his podiatric residency at Carl T. Hayden VA Hospital in Phoenix before opening his practice in 2003. Dr. Newswander remains involved in the education of current podiatric students and is a surgical attending physician at Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program and a preceptor at The Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University. Dr. Newswander has obtained podiatric board certifications through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and received awards from professional and academic associations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Newswander has served as Chief of Surgery and is now currently the Chief of Staff at Gilbert Hospital.
Bryan McCormick Mr. Bryan McCormick was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona.  Mr. McCormick has owned and operated his own engineering firm, then moved into land development and construction. With an ongoing passion for land development his day to day time is now focused on his local solar energy company.  It has been very important to Mr. McCormick that he continues to keep his businesses local. In 2005 Mr. McCormick invested in Florence Hospital at Anthem and continues to stand behind FHA’s mission and vision. Mr. McCormick lives in Mesa with his wife and four children.
Robert Mead, MD Dr. Robert Mead graduated from Brigham Young University and has specialized in emergency medicine physician for over 25 years. Dr. Mead originates from Washington State and currently resides in the West Valley. Dr. Mead has been an investor in Florence Hospital at Anthem since 2005 and currently sits on the Florence Hospital at Anthem Board of Managers.

Mr. Rutherford joined Florence Hospital at Anthem’s leadership team in January 2014 with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. His extensive experience in finance and organizational improvement is a positive addition to the Florence Hospital at Anthem’s leadership team. Mr. Rutherford has lived in Chandler, Arizona for over twelve years with his wife Janice and has three grown sons and two grandchildren.

Dr. Ambrosia was rated Top Doctor in 2014 by Phoenix Magazine and Top Doctor in 2012 by Ranking Arizona- The Best of Arizona Business. He specializes in coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, stroke and carotid artery disease, coronary angiography and angioplasty, carotid angioplasty and stenting, TEE, PFO closure, renal artery angioplasty and stenting, TAVI procedure. He went to medical school at College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, in Pomona, CA in 1991. He completed his residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Internal Medicine, in Phoenix, AZ in 1995 and his fellowship at Good Samaritan as well, in Cardiology in 1998.
